10 Scriptures to Pray for Non-Believers

Power is infused into our prayer life when we couple prayer with God’s Word. When we pray God’s Word, it is as if we are breathing faith. There have been few areas of my prayer life that have drawn me to my knees more than praying for those that I love that don’t know Jesus. Perhaps you too can relate. The abundant life and the hope that we as believers have come to know and embrace cannot be matched by anything this world has to offer, and we desperately long for those that we love to know this hope as we do. Some of you have prayed for years for the same person to place their faith in Jesus Christ. My word of encouragement for you today is this: Don’t stop now! As long as there is breath in their lungs, there is hope for their soul. Be the one who is found on your knees at the feet of your Savior interceding on their behalf. I pray that you will use these few verses below to ignite your prayer life today. Spend some time in God’s Word and in prayer for those that don’t yet know the hope that you profess.1. John 6:44 – Pray that God draws them to Jesus2. Jeremiah 29:13 – Pray they seek God with their whole heart3. 2 Corinthians 4:4 – Pray that God would open their eyes from blindness4.
